First you must register, on the registration page you will be asked various questions about the website and the person responsible for the listing.   We do collect an e-mail address for the purpose of notifying the owner of any changes.  You can read our privacy statement for personal data collected and what it is used for.

After registration you will receive an e-mail message which includes code that must be placed on your website so you site will be tracked properly.

-- What exactly does this code do?

Anytime a visitor goes to your site our server receives a notification to increment your stats on our site by one.  It will also ignore any multiple hits during the same 24 hour period by the same computer to prevent cheating.  The other thing you will notice on our system that you will not find on most, we store and display the Top100 GSP web voting button with a dynamic rating of your site.  So lets assume for a second your site is number three on the Top 100 GSP Webs you will see a voting button with the number three displayed.

-- Does the code do anything else?

No.  Our reputation is based on 11 years of providing this kind of service and while this is a new offering in 2005 it is treated as all the application services we offer.

--  Can I change my site after adding it?

Yes.  Using the "Your Control Panel" link you can make changes to all the options you configured during the registration.

-- What is the difference between Silverblades.NET and GSPDog.NET?

None some of the features reside on one server while other services run on the other server.  We are transitioning from the older Silverblades.NET domain name to the GSPDog.NET domain name.  Due to the services I have decided to take a transitional approach to the migration.  Silverblades.NET will not go away but it will be transitioning back to the roles it was designed for e-Mail, Radio Station and live chat server.
